I am a long
time member of Calvary and have served in many various capacities. Participating with Calvary’s Haiti mission
trip is something I’ve felt a pull to do for a long time! I am really looking forward to sharing this experience
with my son, Luis. We have been to Cuba many times (Rolando’s, my husband, home country) but Haiti will be very
different even though the two islands are very close to one another. I also have an older son, Bobby (20) and an
African daughter, Anna Gloria, (21) who joined our family when she was 14.
I am going to
Haiti with no expectations except to be open to serve where God prompts and
learn what He wants me to learn and I am certain that I will come away humbled.
